At the Smart City Open Innovation Challenge 2025, which will take place during this year's congress from November 4 to 6, 2025, 36 companies and municipalities from around the world will be looking for new technologies/solutions to their challenges in the areas of mobility, water and energy supply, digitalization, and climate adaptation. Meetings can be organized not only on site, but also online via the b2match matchmaking platform from October 28-30 and on November 12, 2025.

There are over 36 challenges from corporations such as Repsol and cities such as Paris and Rome, which innovative solution providers can apply for.

DParticipation in the Smart City Open Innovation Challenge 2025 is free of charge.  The companies and municipalities that formulated the challenges decide whether to accept a meeting request. A meeting can then take place on site at the congress or online. An appointment will be suggested based on your availability as specified on the platform. If technology providers wish to network with each other, they can use the online time slots for this purpose.

The registration deadline is October 24, 2025. Late registrations will only be accepted for the online meetings on November 12, 2025.
