Semiconductors are at the heart of microrobotics – they enable miniaturisation, energy efficiency and precise control for intelligent, autonomous systems on a micro scale. One established player in micro-robotic systems is French deep tech company Percipio Robotics, which found a distribution partner for Germany and the Netherlands in the NRW.Europa team with Saran Capital Holding UG from Kranenburg in the Lower Rhine region and its subsidiary SilTest Semiconductors GmbH from Kleve.  

‘In the global semiconductor industry, we specialise in the development of chips with special properties and the development and implementation of test procedures for semiconductors, and we are unique in Germany with this focus,’ says SilTest Managing Director Sameer Saran. He is also managing director of Saran Capital Holding UG, which invests in young companies, helps with capital procurement and advises on strategic development and market development.

Both Percipio Robotics and Sameer Saran rely on the services offered by the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). In 2022, Percipio Robotics met with the EEN's Sector Group Electronics to explore how the network could support the company's European growth, identify promising markets and help develop an ambitious internationalisation strategy. The regional French EEN partner  CCI Bourgogne Franche-Comté also provided various services for the company.

‘The support provided by the EEN has been a great help to us, as it has accompanied us through every key phase of our development. The distribution partnership we have now entered into with the Lower Rhine-based company marks a new stage in our international development and gives us hope for growing business, accelerated market penetration and sustainable growth,’ says Persipio Robotics Managing Director Yann BuailIon, summarising the cooperation.

The French and Sameer Saran first met in 2023 at a meeting of the Electronics Sector Group in Eindhoven, followed by another meeting in Thessaloniki in 2024. The Lower Rhine-based company was invited and accompanied there by the NRW.Europa team from ZENIT, which is involved in the Sector Group Electronics through ZENIT consultant Jan Siebenborn as an expert.

After getting to know each other, both companies decided to join forces. The result: since the summer of 2025, Saran Capital Holding UG has been the official sales agent for the French deep tech company. Sameer Saran is responsible for the German and Dutch markets and will also develop new business opportunities for the French company.

The Enterprise Europe Network partners in France, Germany, the Netherlands and Greece will continue to support both companies. New strategic collaborations are already in the pipeline.
