North Rhine-Westphalia is offering international tech companies a new incentive to expand into the German market: the Startup Welcome Package. The initiative provides a €10,000 grant to support market entry, covering coworking space rent, tailored consulting, tax advice, and business development services. To qualify, companies must be technology-driven, highly innovative, and committed to establishing a long-term presence in NRW. They must also align with the region's sustainability goals and contribute positively to the local economy. Eligible applicants must be less than 10 years old, have under 250 employees, and generate annual revenues below €50 million. Companies must also be registered outside Germany at the time of application.
